What We Do
Six ways we move freight — all on quad-axle flatbed equipment, all within Ontario and Quebec.
Dedicated trailer for your load, direct from pickup to delivery. The standard choice for steel, lumber, machinery and palletized building products moving between Ontario and Quebec.
Not enough freight to fill a trailer? We combine partial flatbed loads on the same lane so you pay for the deck space you use instead of the whole trailer.
Permitted oversize transport within Ontario and Quebec. Anything over 2.6 m wide or 4.15 m high needs a provincial permit — we arrange the permits, flags, signage and escorts required for the route.
Weather-sensitive freight gets tarped and strapped properly — chains, binders, edge protectors, coil racks. Every load is secured to National Safety Code Standard 10 before the wheels turn.
Shipping the same lane every week? We'll assign trucks to a recurring schedule so you get consistent capacity and predictable pricing instead of chasing the spot market.
Job-site delivery for structural steel, rebar, beams, precast, lumber packages and roofing loads — including sites with tight windows and limited unloading access.
Who We Haul For
Flatbed freight covers anything that can't go in a dry van. These are the shippers we move most often.
Structural steel, beams, plate, rebar, coils, pipe and tubing to fabricators and job sites.
Lumber packages, engineered wood, drywall, siding and roofing bundles — tarped when the weather calls for it.
Precast, forms, scaffolding, aggregates in bulk bags and general site material.
Industrial machines, generators, compressors and plant equipment, including permitted oversize pieces.
Crated goods, fabricated assemblies and plant-to-plant transfers between Ontario and Quebec.
Tractors, implements and farm machinery moved between dealers, farms and auctions.
Poles, cable reels, transformers and infrastructure components for utility contractors.
Reliable flatbed capacity on Ontario–Quebec lanes for brokers who need a carrier that actually shows up.
Who We Are
Founded in 2016 and based in Brampton, Ontario, Freight5 has been moving flatbed freight across Ontario and Quebec for nearly a decade. We grew from a single truck to a fleet of 12 flatbed trucks pulling quad-axle flatbed trailers, driven by experienced, safety-focused professionals.
We built this company on a simple commitment: do the job right, every time. Show up on time, secure every load properly, and keep our customers informed from pickup to delivery.
Whether you're shipping steel, construction materials, lumber, industrial equipment or oversized loads, our team has the experience to move it safely and on schedule — and because we stay inside Ontario and Quebec, we know these lanes, these yards and these seasons better than a carrier passing through.
Our Brampton terminal sits on a fenced and gated yard, so trailers staged between loads sit behind a locked gate rather than on the street.
Our Fleet
Real loads, real trucks, real roads — Ontario and Quebec, every day of the year.
Where We Run
Based in Brampton and running the major freight corridors across both provinces.
From our Brampton base we cover every major Ontario corridor — the GTA, Golden Horseshoe, southwestern Ontario along the 401, and east to Ottawa along the 416/417.
Regular runs into Quebec along the Highway 20 and 40 corridors, serving Montreal and the surrounding industrial markets.
Our busiest lane is Toronto / GTA to Montreal — roughly 540 km, typically a same-day or next-morning delivery depending on pickup time and border-free routing through eastern Ontario. Brampton to Ottawa runs about 450 km; Brampton to Windsor about 370 km. Freight5 operates domestically within Canada and does not run U.S. cross-border freight.
